Sustainability is the cornerstone of our operations. We design holistic products that genuinely bring relief and support to people in their everyday lives. Ecological, social, and economic sustainability form the foundation of our work.

Ecology & Certifications

Our natural cosmetic products are built around carefully selected plant extracts from European hemp. The hemp we use is grown without chemical pesticides in Croatia. Our sourcing expert, Miro Koliseva, has spent years evaluating producers across Europe, and we've partnered with a supplier recognized for delivering some of the highest-quality hemp extracts available on the market.

Although the hemp is grown using organic methods, some hemp-derived cosmetic ingredients cannot receive organic certification under current EU rules, since some countries still classify certain hemp compounds as controlled substances. Hemp is undoubtedly a plant of the future, with great potential for cultivation also in Finland.

Natural cosmetics are an ecological choice. Our products contain no chemicals that burden the environment or the human body.

We are proud to carry the Key Flag symbol, a mark of Finnish craftsmanship and quality.

All our products are 100% vegan — no animal-derived ingredients or by-products.

Certifications

Natural cosmetics are an ecological choice. Our products contain no chemicals that burden the environment or the human body.

The raw materials we use are produced responsibly, in accordance with Ecocert certification requirements.

Our products are Ecocert-certified, meaning the ingredients have been inspected and approved by an independent third party. Ecocert is the largest and most recognized international certification organization, which considers not only the ingredients used in products but also the packaging materials.

Ecocert can grant either the Ecocert Cosmos Organic or Ecocert Cosmos Natural certification. Blank& products carry the latter. This means that at least 95% of the total ingredients in the product must be of natural origin. The raw materials must come from renewable natural resources and be produced in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way.

Some of the ingredients in Blank& products are certified organic. These are marked in the product-specific ingredient list (INCI list) with an asterisk (*).
